This Stowe holiday rental is central to all of Stowe's great restaurants and shopping. There are hundreds of miles of trails for hiking or cross country skiing just minutes away. Take an easy day trip to the Trapp family lodge on your skis, and stop for a cup of cocoa and lunch, or for the heartier souls, hike up to the top of the Pinnacle for a panoramic view of the region.
For skiers, the mountain is
undergoing a transformations, with new runs, lifts, world class
shopping and restaurants. This new resort will certainly be the premier
resort of the East.
During the summer months Stowe has much to offer: Hiking, golfing, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, biking, or roller blading. Try the Stowe Alpine slide, a 2,300 foot ride down Spruce Peak, or take a drive up the Auto Toll Road which goes to the top of Mt Mansfield and offers fabulous views, or try bungie trampolining—all near this Stowe holiday rental. There are five lakes around Stowe, as well as swimming holes and rivers. Antiquing is great in the areas surrounding Stowe—with great finds at reasonable prices. There are also open air concerts, balloon rides, tennis, golf, horseback riding and two spas nearby for a luxurious treat.
